At Garrison, we like to think that we have changed the shopping experience for men in creating a space where they can hang out and be themselves. Therefore, before even picking up a measuring tape, we strive to learn about what it is our customer does, where he goes and whom he meets. After taking all that into consideration, we ask ourselves what it is we can do to make his lifestyle better.

The Garrison bulletproof suit was developed on this very basis. Upon learning about the industries that require our client’s travel to dangerous places for work, Garrison decided to take on the task of creating a lightweight garment that looks professional, but can also act as reliable body armour. The idea was to create a stylish and discreet alternative to wearing a bulkier bulletproof vest underneath your suit. That way, clients won’t have to worry about looking awkward in their meetings and can take on the world feeling confident and protected.

Garrison worked alongside suppliers for the US 19th Special Forces in developing the bulletproof suit. Using nanotechnology, it was comprised of the same carbon nanotubes that were designed for the troops’ uniforms in Iraq. Yet, the patented suit material is a lot thinner and flexible and fifty percent lighter than Kevlar (the material commonly used for bulletproof gear). The entire suit acts like a shield as nanotubes within the fabric hardens to block anything from penetrating through.

Ultimately, the Garrison Bespoke bulletproof suit works to fulfill three important expectations. The first is that it looks modern and stylish. The second is that it’s light and comfortable. The third is that it’s reliable and safe. After putting the suit to the test ourselves, we can proudly say that all expectations have been met.
