one of the longest-standing and most-respected mills in the United Kingdom — to share some new cloths from their spring and summer collection, including fine cloths in Portofino, Khotan Silk, Sherry Silk, Triple Crown, and many more. We will be showcasing exclusive fabrics from our recent film project and have promotions on the new silk mohair fabrics.
We know that wearing a suit to the office on hot summer days can be a pain, but we’re here to show that it doesn’t have to be. Arriving from the UK with more than 40 years of experience working with fabrics, our Holland & Sherry host will make sure you choose the right fabrics for your summer office wardrobe. With a little help from our experts, you will be ready for summer in comfort and style with the best custom made suits. This is an event you don’t want to miss out on.
Britain has traditionally been at the forefront of the textiles and tailoring market for more than 200 years, thanks largely to heritage brands like Holland & Sherry. They’ve been in the luxury fabric business since 1836, when it was founded by Stephen George Holland and Frederick Sherry. To this day, they’re a fixture on Savile Row — their head office is right in the middle of the stretch, close to all the menswear action — though their mill operations are now and forever based up north in Yorkshire and Scotland.
Holland & Sherry’s design team sources the best natural fibres to create their luxury cloths. The motto behind their trade is, “going from the wool off the sheep’s back to the finished suit”, putting everything in the fabric that should be in the fabric. Their weavers understand that not all fabrics are created equal and consider the length, strength, crimp (natural memory), and lustre of the natural fibres in all their cloths before they are distributed.
On top of that, their West Yorkshire mills excel in creating textiles specifically for menswear in a damp climate that is ideal for spinning and finishing cotton and wool.

It’s a traditional process from a company that embodies good old English tradition—but that doesn’t mean the tailoring has to be traditional, strictly speaking. At the Garrison trunk show, we’ll create a personal custom made suit with a decidedly modern fit for your Holland & Sherry pieces, with unique flourishes in details like buttons and colourful linings.
And, as always, there will be a few special gifts available on the day of the show (that’s this weekend, if you were wondering).
